Stand with the work

Corruption survives because nobody can afford to fight it.

You can. Five dollars a month keeps an investigation moving. Twenty-five keeps one alive. A hundred funds a full case file. This is how the work gets done, and how it keeps getting done.

What your money has built

A year of independent investigative work, on the public record.

47 motions filed pro se in the last year, with the playbook posted publicly.

Every motion went online so the next person fighting the same fight does not have to start from scratch.

Hogan Ruling on the public record.

A federal judge acknowledging due-process violations in a January 6 case became part of the public record because the work continued. One of fifteen hundred defendants.

Two hundred plus public-records requests filed across thirty states.

The receipts go up. Officials read them. The pattern emerges.

    A note from Ryan

If you donate, here is what I promise you.

Every dollar buys real work. I publish quarterly transparency reports listing the categories and amounts. Producers see line-item breakdowns. The receipts go on the public record because that is the entire point.

This is not a charity pitch. This is a fight. The system is engineered to wear people down until they give up. Your money keeps me on the field a little longer, and lets one more pro se litigant walk into a courtroom prepared. That is the entire job.

If something on this page does not feel right, write me directly. Ryan@RealRyanNichols.com. I read every email.

    Questions worth asking

    Before you give.

    Is my donation tax-deductible?
No. Faretta Legal is not a 501(c)(3) and your contribution is not tax-deductible. We are an independent investigative shop. Your money buys real work and the receipts go on the public record. If you want a tax-deductible path, donate to the Mission PWYC track on GiveSendGo.
    Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Every monthly tier cancels with one click in your account. No phone calls, no retention pitch. If a month is not the right time, pause for as long as you need.
Where does the money actually go?
Filing fees, transcript orders, public-records request fees, expert hourly review, and the human hours it takes to do investigative work right. We publish quarterly transparency reports listing the categories and amounts. Producers see line-item breakdowns.
    Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell or share donor information.
Can I give in someone's name or in memory of someone?
Yes. After your first donation, email Ryan@RealRyanNichols.com with the name and we will list it on the Wall of Patrons with your dedication. Anonymous gifts respected.
I am a pro se litigant. Should I donate or buy a service?
Buy a service. Donations come from people who want to fund the broader work. If you have an active case, the catalog has direct help priced for pro se budgets. The Direct Line at $27 is the fastest path to actual help.
